The Ancients not only walked before us, but they walk within us.
Their wisdom is our intuition.
Their love is our desire to be our best.
Africa will always find its children, no matter how many generations afar they are from her earthly womb.
No matter how contemporary they become.
No tree grows tall without deep roots.

Wow, I didn't know you had some new pieces up? I love the poem that says:
They walk within us
So true...fantastic work, Lloyd.
Can you set me up with a subscription?
Thank you for the feedback Teresa. It is very much appreciated. To subscribe there is a 'subscribe to this feed' button below the script and "Thumb this Up" icon. Please let me know if you have any issue with it.
Thank you again.
lloyd I love the subtext of social commentary in this piece. Commercialism that cuts across an expression of exclusivity is recast in an open and loving way giving positive expression to a brand image that does not necessarily support it. KUDOS!
Thank you for expanding the scope of this piece with your revelations Deb. Our commercialism has a story, actually our story. It just does not come in the sacred form that we are accustomed to and expect. Time will always reveal the divine of our day, even if it does not appear divine right now.
